Car Match

Car Match is a strategic puzzle game where players help cars escape a crowded parking lot. Each car sits on a grid and must be rotated to face a new direction. When a car is turned, all cars that have a clear path in that direction will move out of the lot and into one of the seven available parking spaces. Obstacles, such as traffic cones, block certain paths and require players to think carefully about the order of their moves. Cars are cleared from the parking area when three of the same color are parked together, opening up space for more vehicles. The game develops K–5 mathematical skills including logical reasoning, pattern recognition, spatial reasoning, and strategic planning. Students must analyze how one move affects multiple cars, predict outcomes, and create efficient sequences of moves to clear the lot before the parking spaces fill up.
