Times Trials

Times Trials is a fast-paced math puzzle game where players manage falling number blocks to create sums or products that match a target number. Each falling piece is made up of two numbered squares, and students must rotate and place them strategically to form correct combinations. Players begin by focusing on addition, and after a few levels, they choose their path - continuing with addition or switching to multiplication. For K–5 learners, this game builds strong number sense, fact fluency, and mental math skills while also developing spatial reasoning and quick decision-making. Students explore number relationships by composing and decomposing numbers and discovering multiple ways to reach the same target. As the pace increases and the board fills up, the game encourages persistence, flexible thinking, and strategic planning.
