Welcome to PlayMath.org! These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Play Math Institute ("PlayMath," "we," or "us"), the company that operates PlayMath.org (incorporated in Delaware and headquartered in California, USA). By accessing or using the PlayMath.org website and its free math games and services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Services.
Parents and Guardians: If you are a parent, guardian, or educator, please review these Terms and our Privacy Policy. By allowing a child to use our Services, you agree to these Terms on the child's behalf and take responsibility for supervising the child's use. If you are under 18, you should only use the site with the permission and supervision of a parent, guardian, or teacher.
General Audience (Including Children)
PlayMath.org is an educational site designed for a general audience, including children. We welcome users of all ages. Children under 13 are allowed to use our free games without creating an account or providing personal details. However, if you are under the age of 13, we recommend using the site under the guidance of a parent, guardian, or teacher to ensure you understand and follow these Terms.
No Accounts or Purchases
The Services do not require users to create an account or make any payment to access our games. The Services are free to use and contain no advertising, so both kids and adults can enjoy our math games in a safe environment.
U.S. Law
By using our Services, you agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Our site is operated in the United States and is subject to U.S. law. We make no representation that the Services are appropriate or available for use outside the U.S. If you access PlayMath.org from other jurisdictions, you are responsible for following your local laws in addition to U.S. law.
What We Offer
PlayMath.org provides fun, educational math games and activities for children. Our goal is to offer a safe, ad-free online environment where kids (and learners of all ages) can practice math skills through play. All games and content on our site are provided by Play Math Institute or by our partners under license. We continually update our game library and features to improve the user experience.
Free and Ad-Free
The Services are completely free. We do not display advertising within the Services or require any in-app purchases. There are no hidden fees, and we will never ask for credit card information. You can enjoy all of our games without interruptions or payment.
No Registration Required
We do not require users to sign up, create accounts, or log in to play our games. You can start playing immediately. Because there are no user accounts, we do not ask for usernames, passwords, or profile information from children or any users.
Limited Communication Features
Our site does not include social features like public forums, chat rooms, or the ability for users to post content visible to others. The only interactive feature where you might provide information is through basic forms (for example, a contact or feedback form or an email submission to reach us). These are entirely optional and are used solely for you to communicate with us or ask questions. You cannot upload files, post public comments, or share content on PlayMath.org beyond sending us a direct message through those forms.
Service Updates
We may add, change, or remove content (such as adding new games, updating levels, or removing older games) to keep our Services up to date and enjoyable. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. If we do so, we will try to make sure those changes enhance the user experience. Your continued use of the Services after changes are made means you accept those changes. (We describe how we handle updates to these Terms in the Changes to Terms section below.)
Your privacy is very important to us. We are especially committed to protecting children's privacy. Our Privacy Policy explains in detail what information we collect and how we use it. The following is a summary of our privacy practices relevant to these Terms.
No Personal Information Required from Children
Children can use our games without providing their name, email address, or other personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children except as permitted by applicable law.
Limited Data Collection
When you use PlayMath.org, we automatically collect limited technical information that helps us operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Services. For example, we may use cookies and similar technologies to understand how our games and website are used, improve performance, maintain security, and fix technical issues. We collect only the limited persistent identifiers permitted by applicable law to support the internal operation of the child-directed portions of the Services.
No Advertising or Marketing Technologies in the Child-Directed Portions of the Services
We do not use advertising or marketing technologies in the child-directed portions of our Services. Any persistent identifiers collected there are used solely to support the internal operation of the Services in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We also do not use student or child data to train artificial intelligence models.
Contact Forms and Voluntary Information
If you choose to contact us through a contact form or by email, you may provide information such as your name and email address so that we can respond. We encourage children to have a parent, guardian, or teacher assist them when contacting us. We use this information only to respond to your inquiry and as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.
Children's Privacy
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child in a manner inconsistent with applicable law, we will delete that information promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information that should be removed, please contact us and we will work to delete it.
Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in our Privacy Policy, whether you provide it directly or it is collected automatically through the Services.
By using our Services, you agree to our data practices as described in these Terms and in our Privacy Policy. We encourage parents and all users to read the full Privacy Policy for more information about how we collect, use, and protect information.
We want PlayMath.org to be a safe, positive, and fun place to learn. By using our site, you agree to behave responsibly. Specifically, you agree not to:
If you violate these rules or engage in conduct that we consider harmful, illegal, or disruptive, we reserve the right to suspend or block your access to PlayMath.org (including by blocking an IP address) and, where appropriate, notify law enforcement or other authorities.
As noted, PlayMath.org does not include forums or areas where users can post content publicly. However, you may submit content to us directly in limited ways, such as:
When you submit any content or communication to us (collectively, "Submissions"), you agree to the following:
Appropriate Content:Your Submission must be lawful and appropriate. Do not send anything that is illegal, offensive, defamatory, or infringes another person's rights, including copyrighted material or personal information that you do not have permission to share. Please avoid including sensitive personal information, especially information about children, beyond what is reasonably necessary for us to respond to your inquiry.
Your Own Content: You represent that you own your Submission or have the necessary rights and permission to share it with us.
Permission to Use: By submitting feedback, ideas, or other content, you grant Play Math Institute a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, and otherwise use your Submission for any lawful purpose without compensation or further permission. We may use your feedback to improve the Services, but we are not obligated to do so.
No Confidentiality: Unless we expressly agree otherwise, Submissions are considered non-confidential. Please do not send proprietary or confidential ideas or information that you expect us to keep confidential.

All content available through PlayMath.org is protected by intellectual property laws.
Teachers, parents, and educators may use our materials for classroom or personal educational purposes, provided that ownership notices remain intact and access is not sold or otherwise commercialized.

The Services and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Play Math Institute disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
Among other things, we do not guarantee that:
The Services are intended for educational and entertainment purposes only and should not be considered professional educational advice tailored to any individual.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Play Math Institute and its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, licensors, partners, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Services.
This includes damages for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or similar losses, even if we have been advised that such damages were possible.
If we are found liable for any claim relating to the Services, our total liability will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us to use the Services during the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) USD $100. Because the Services are currently free, this will ordinarily be USD $100 or less.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Services, legal requirements, or our business practices.
If we make changes, we will:
Your continued use of the Services after revised Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
You may stop using the Services at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services without prior notice if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, applicable law, or engaged in conduct that threatens the security, integrity, or operation of the Services.
Because the Services do not currently require user accounts, termination may include blocking access from particular devices, IP addresses, or other technical identifiers.
The provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination, including those relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law, will continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless applicable law requires otherwise. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Before filing a legal claim, we encourage you to contact us so we may attempt to resolve the matter informally.
If you access the Services outside the United States, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for complying with any applicable local laws.
If you have questions about these Terms or the Services, please contact us at:
Email: contact@playmath.org
We will make reasonable efforts to respond to your inquiries promptly.
By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms of Service.
